Practical at E0.44 with Lynn
We continued our work on crafting the props for ‘The Magic Paintbrush’. I had to think about a lot of things and had to make multiple decisions that in the end affects the boat I am currently making. One of the biggest one was that I would not remove the top part of the boat and it would not be curved at the top and instead be a flat surface and only curve at the bottom. I will continue to have the sides and have it fit perfectly for the thrust stage. I am done with almost all of it. I need to polish up the bottom to be cut symmetrically on both halves, cut out one of the sides of the other half and have velcro put both halves together. I still need to do a few things more that I will only find out when I’m done with everything. Hopefully I can finish the boat on our next lesson as I don’t want to waste more time on this. I know that the rest of the people have finished making the gold coins for the trees, the cudgel has been crafted and the sails are nearly done. The donkey mask is also nearly complete. I’m really enjoying these crafting times as they are very different from what we would usually do and we also listen to music while making the props so I’m happy.
I don’t know much more because I’ve been concentrated on my boat and listening to music but I’m expecting to have the boat finished on the next time we put time into this.
